Detailed Landscape Design, Native Plant Selection, And Innovative Water Management
When the clients first approached us, their Barton Creek, Texas property was overrun with old growth and invasive cedars, creating a challenging landscape. They had already installed retaining walls and basic evergreens, but these blocked the view of their beautiful home. We transformed this space by removing the evergreens and implementing a comprehensive landscaping plan that emphasized native plants and sustainability. We designed a butterfly garden with yucca rostrata, mist flower, and salvias, creating a vibrant habitat for butterflies and hummingbirds. Additionally, we installed a dry creek bed to manage water runoff from the sloped property, ensuring efficient drainage. For privacy, we planted a hedgerow of fast-growing Arizona cypress. Our services included detailed landscape design, native plant selection, and innovative water management solutions. This project not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the property but also created a low-maintenance, eco-friendly environment, providing the homeowners with a beautiful, functional outdoor space.
